Mr. Book just finished The Final Days, by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein.
This book was Woodward and Bernstein’s sequel to All The President’s Men. It covered the final 100 days of the Nixon presidency. We now know a lot more about what happened than we did at the time the book was written, but this book has still passed the test of time.
I don’t know when it was, but I know that I had read this book in the past. I remember thinking it was a better book than All The President’s Men and that was confirmed by me rereading both of them today.
The trouble with writing this review is the story is so well known by now that I am struggling to add anything to do it. So, I will conclude this brief review by giving this an A+, which means it is inducted into the Hall of Fame. Goodreads requires grades on a 1-5 star system. In my personal conversion system, an A+ equates to 5 stars. (A or A+: 5 stars, B+: 4 stars, B: 3 stars, C: 2 stars, D or F: 1 star).
